Magazine Review: Flow Magazine

The Flow Magazine Review    (Holland)   Official website and The Pinterest page

This is definitely a magazine for paper lovers.

1st the price: $22.50 at Barnes and Noble. Use your membership card and SAVE! I feel it was worth the money for a change.

You can cut apart and use 3/4 of the magazine for projects.  I hope you enjoy the projects I created with some of the magazine.

This project uses some of the paper art I cut out. It's a checkbook cover and a gift card holder (both from Anchor Paper Express in Roseville, MN http://www.anchorpaper.com/ )

This project shows another cut-out, affixed to background paper, and then framed with a ready made frame (both from Michael's, http://www.michaels.com/ and purchased in Maplewood, MN)

2nd: There are not too many advertisers!!! I know, no way really? Yep!

3rd: In the issue  I purchased, The Flow focused on art, relationship advice, and stepping outside of your comfort zone in art and life.

I cannot wait to see more magazines from them. It is definitely a European magazine.   Enjoy!

(Shelley loved this magazine; paging through it over and over, oohing and aahing over the pretty papers and projects. I thought it was rather lovely too, and well worth the cost. There are a bunch of boards on Pinterest that use Flow imagery; a little search of Flow Magazine gets you a lot of pins.)
